Established in May2017, Govt. Degree College Bhalei is pioneer of higher education in Dalhousie Assembly Constituency. The motto of the college is tamso ma jyotirgamya. It is a matter of great honour and pleasure to me to lead this college. At present the college has become exemplary in overall development of the students. The college is serving the need of higher education in Arts and Commerce streams. The fantastic amiable environment of the college and highly qualified and experienced faculty strives to contribute to the requirements and the aspirations of the students. The highly committed and inspired non teaching staff, supportive PTA and high level efforts of principal and staff have played a dynamic role in shaping the institution as the leading institution of learning in this part of Chama district. It is an honour to say that the college students have who heartedly participated in the academic and non academic activities such as Red Ribbon Club, Echo Club, quiz competitions, rallies on social awareness issues especially Nasha Nivaran programme along with sports and cultural activities. I hope that the simple spent by the students in the college would proved to be most fruitful part in their lives and they will surely bring name and fame to the college state and above all to the nation.
